The Midnight Library by Matt Haig
It’s September now so I guess that means summer’s over??
Here’s Jan’s most fun read of the summer: The Midnight Library by Matt Haig! 📚📚Shoutout @paakowessandoh for the great recommendation🙏🏽🙏🏽
Nora Seed feels alone, worthless and regretful when she finds herself in an inter-dimensional library. Every book tells a different story of her life, depending on the decisions she made along the way.
As she experiences herself as an Olympic swimmer, famous rockstar, scientist and more, she realizes what makes for a meaningful life.
This book is long but really easy to read. Haig’s writing made it feel like watching a movie in my head. And it’s blend of magical storytelling and philosophy reminded me of The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho.
For @paakowessandoh the book made him more confident in his decisions. To learn why, check out his episode of The Book That Blank on Apple Podcasts and Spotify!
